Temporary and Summer Staff Wanted at Gränna Elderly Care

We are now looking for both temporary and summer staff for Gränna Elderly Care for the summer of 2026!

Gränna Elderly Care is centrally located in beautiful Gränna, close to shops, pharmacies, health centers, the harbor avenue, and good walking paths.

The residence consists of six units divided into one short-term unit, two dementia units, and three units for special housing, totaling 61 apartments. We have a beautiful inner courtyard with flower beds, green areas, and a greenhouse that is frequently used during the summer months.

Your Responsibilities

As a temporary/summer staff member with us, you will have a varied and social job. Regardless of where you work, it is about providing support and creating a meaningful everyday life for the elderly. You will start from the citizen's needs and help them maintain their abilities.

Common tasks include:

• Assistance with personal care, such as dressing and undressing
• Assistance with personal hygiene, such as showering and toilet visits
• Service tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and shopping
• Social activities, such as walks and coffee breaks

Who Are You?

You who are applying have a genuine interest in people and a positive attitude towards your work. Just like us, you see the importance of good cooperation among colleagues and value teamwork. The profession also involves solitary work, which requires you to take your own initiative, be attentive to others, and be responsible. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the job!

Furthermore, it is desirable that you have an ongoing or completed education in nursing programs or child and leisure programs, but this is not a requirement. Experience in care and nursing work is also seen as an advantage.

You must master the Swedish language in speech, writing, and reading comprehension as you will need to communicate with citizens, relatives, and colleagues, as well as write and read notes in daily work.

For those who do not live in Gränna or the surrounding area, it is advantageous if you have a B driver's license and access to a car, as bus connections are poorer during evenings and weekends.

Good to Know

We are looking for both temporary staff who can work extra with us as needed and summer staff for our vacation period between weeks 25 and 34.

As a summer employee, you can work full-time or part-time by agreement, during the day, evening, or night, both weekdays and weekends. We would like you to be able to work at least six weeks in a row during the summer.

Keep in mind that you need to be able to get to and from the workplace on your own.

• Which weeks you can work in the summer if you are interested in a summer position

To work with us, you must submit an approved extract from the police criminal record. Order this from the police's website at the same time as you submit your application. Use the form "Control of Own Information". If you are considered for a position, the extract must be submitted in an unopened envelope.
